Yes, I think so too.
The relationships between Hem and Saliman is very different from the one Maerad and Cadvan have, but they are both as deep and steady as the other. Cadvan provides a sense of ...friendship,love and care, as a friend to a friend, while Saliman provides the same things (friendship, love, care etc) as a more fatherly figure to a child... Yes, sometimes, Cadvan seems like a fatherly figure to Maerad too, with all his wisdom and knowledge, but , it just feels so different, if you know what I mean...

yea i so get wht u mean. it is the same kind of relationship but at the same time completly different (not sure if tht makes sense) cadvan and mearad obviously LOVE each other but r 2 scared 2 admit it 2 themselves and each other. But he does act the protective father role as well at sum points. and hem and salimans realtionship is father/son, and i think if saliman dies it wud kill hem. But i think hem shud end up bein the nameless1 and mearad has 2 kill him. tht wud be such a gd endin.
Not sure if cadvan shud die i think tht cos we thought he was dead in the riddle it wudn't rele work.
In the gift and riddle the books r more written from mearads point of view obviously cos she is the main character. But i think the singing (if tht is wht it is called) shud be written from cadvans prespective.

oh and 1 last thing @ the end if it is written from cadvans prespective mearad shud be thought 2 be dead rele near the end so we think all hope is lost but no cadvan gives her mouth 2 mouth ;) + she cums bck 2 life kills hem (cos hes the nameless1) and cadvan and mearad have lots of beautiful babies and live happily ever after.

maybe not quiet the ideal endin but rather gd i thought! lol we all get wht we want death, tradgedy and a bit of corney love. lol :D

How I think the books will end:
Maerad defeats Sharma
Nelac dies
Cadvan comes close to dying again
Hem and Maerad help rebuild the school of Pellinor
Maerad becomes 1st Bard in the school of Pellinor
or....
She may still decide to go adventuring with Cadvan ;)
Not quite sure about Saliman can see him dying and then again see hime not dying

I think the books will have the perfect ending because Alison will do a good job. :D (At least I hope so!) Whatever the perfect ending may be...

Well, I'm pretty sure the Nameless would be defeated anyway. I don't know who will die, though.
