Well that was fun! I just read through this entire thread, and it was pretty interesting.... except for all the 'zombie/vampire' bits.... come on guys! Go be vampires in 'chattery'!! Silly things... anyways, I think that something dramatic will happen, and Maerad and Cadvan will almost get together in the rush of emotion, or maybe let it carry them away, and then realise and stop. They will talk it out, lay their feelings bare, realise it is the wrong thing to do, and neither is emotionally ready to be in such a relationship, and always stay the closest of friends. I think the 'ripping each others clothes off' theory would be the dream for most girls here, but the other way is better in the long run. *sigh* sadly...

I've got it!!

Maybe be could bribe and threaten Ali to write us a short alternate ending or something, where they get together and have babies and all the beautiful scenes we've imagined, but leave it out of the books.... then everyone wins!!! It's brilliant *plots* so how about it Ms. Author??

And also, I think that Hem and Saliman are wonderful, and will be a great book! Hem reminds me of my gangly, food-devouring little brother, who is almost exactly the same age as Hem too, so he seems more real to me i suppose :) but even though we have an attatchment to M & C, Hem and his mentor are just as lovable, and We'll be just as sad to leave them at the end of the Crow!

Also, I wanted to give a big angry face  to those who give empty criticism, or say that the Pellinor books are copying something else, (which is completely ridiculous!!!!) because that would make me cry if I wrote them, and it is untrue anyway *nods*

well I've talked WAY TO MUCH, so I'll say ta-ta for now, and go off to do something else :D

Sorry all for the ranting!!

Emerald :) :) :)

Thanks Becks and Bridie and everyone - I'm pretty confident about The Crow, but every time I think about The Singing I feel a little nervous - I know it's going to be the most difficult of the lot! All I can say is that I will do my best...

So I was thinking about the Treesong, and maybe when/if it's complete it will free the Elidhu and allow them to either live out a mortal/Bardic life or die so they can be free...that's just a slight prediction...might have been said...I have others that contradict that. .it's just a maybe.. :D

I dunno... I thought the Elidhu were immortal even when the treesong was complete in the beginning, why would anything change once it is put back together again...? *shrugs*

Alison: I'm SOO excited about both of the books, and judging by the effort and talent put in the previous two, I'm positive that I'll fall in love with the newest additions... although knowing that 'The Singing' is going to be the final book of the Pellinor Series is giving me nightmares... lol
