Ha... getting away with making it look like it was your own idea all along, just doesn’t work. Sounds like something a wife would say Mind you, I'm not silly enough to try and pull that one over on my fiance.
An excellent point. The bridge between hand-holding and "WTF is happening?" is perilous.
