I enjoyed writing something for the OCT flash fiction comp. And inordinately, exceedingly happy and surprised to get a vote for it too!
I didn't vote tho. Time poor - and what a lot of reading to do. I'll probs have more time in December so will try to vote then.
I'm heading out of town on a secondment to the back of beyond for 5 weeks shortly, so will not be able to take part in the Nov comp.
I could use some help over at my new blog if anyone is willing, Robert Garbin's Blog. I have created a short 3 question survey to get some data for a future post and I would like to get answers from anyone that is willing. Please, don't take offense over the questions because none is intended. I am only looking for data. Thanks.
The Trailer for my upcoming novel, Cybersp@ce. Pre-release copies will be available for review soon.

I did post this a while back but for some reason it was deleted.
They've indicated they are also going to publish an excerpt from my "Essential Reading in Science Fiction" Collection: http://www.amazon.com:80/dp/B007KMDW9M Probably some time in November.
If you enjoy Sci-Fi thrillers, I hope you'll help spread the word about my upcoming novel, Cybersp@ce! Below is a link to my website and my blog, where you can find a trailer excerpts, etc. I flatter myself by thinking it's something of a Tom Clancy meets Michael Crichton novel.
Cybersp@ce will probably be released in January, 2013.
To help readers of Task Force: Gaea with knowing more background of "who's who," they can download a FREE PDF download of Glossary of Immortals, a brief overview of just who the gods are, complete with pronunciation guide.
If you encounter a problem downloading the document, please email me at email@example.com.

Check out my latest blog entry here.
The singing of birds
announces the beginning of Spring
now memories of you
is what it will bring
It's like we always had three children
Two strong and fast
and you were our little one
who always came last
If only you could stay
we would hug you every day

There, a story about dolls. Who would have thunk it? Well, it was a challenge, and that's the main thing.
Also the first story I've written longhand for a very, very long time indeed. I was on a flight and all electronic devices needed to be switched off when I started. What a lot of scribbling out there was - as opposed to the incessant backspacing when typing.
Now to read some of the other entries.
Hey Folks who spend time over here and not in the forums! We have a little contest going on. I will be epublishing a short anthology about the end of the world in December. Along with nine other stories already included in the anthology, three of the stories below will be chosen - by you! If you are so inclined, please peruse the list and then submit your votes!

This novella is based on a 12 part Alien Hunter series that I wrote for the Golden Visions science fiction magazine that appeared from January 2011 – July 2012. It has received some good reviews: http://wrfrbeameup.blogspot.com.au/2...rooper-by.html
Well, been a while since I posted to my blog but been busy. The 4th & final book in The Slingshot Saga Series (say that fast 3 times) called Enemies Return is now published & is available at all the usual on line book outlets. Thanks.
I never think about it all that much, being there instead of here. Outside instead of inside. They’re both the same to me. What purpose does it serve to contemplate where or when or what? I’m here, it’s now, I am what I am. That was the problem, I was suddenly pulled somewhere else. I found myself at the focal point of a cosmos that was swirling about me. The pull of its billions and billions of worlds was trying to distract the motes of my being into dispersing throughout the ancient universe.
It's that time again. Time for Nexus 6! Check it out here at Rob Sanders Speculative Fiction.
