Posted my first story on here today, first time I've been out in public with my work! :)

It's great to read so many good stories on here, but it just makes me realise how much I still have to learn!

Hopefully I'll get chance to read more and maybe even post another story up soon!

Cool. I know the feeling, posting something of your own for the first time. Where is yours? Can you post a link?

    The link is : http://www.sffworld.com/community/story/4344p0.html

It's a bit long, but I'd love some feedback if you get a chance to read it!

Have you posted any stories here, or anywhere else for that matter?

    Hey jacko101,

Stories do get read in the Stories section of this site, but the forum members who write tend to hang out in the writing forum. Come check us out.

Was that a question for me? If so, yes, a few bits and pieces. I couple of short stories (that seem a bit naff to me now) on YouWriteOn and the opening chapters of a novel I am working on (but have since revised massively) on Conn Iggulden's website in the writing area there. I had some positive comments on Conn's site and mixed reviews on YouWriteOn ...it's a learning process ...

I'll have to check out those other sites, it's amazing how many there are! Good luck with the novel, I think I've started several but always have a rethink and then get stuck!
