More big books

It must be that time of the publishing year. Arriving (very loudly) on the doorstep of Hobbit Towers today was the UK paperback edition of Steven Erikson's Toll the Hounds, due out in April.
1200+ pages, slightly larger paperback format (which is going to annoy some):
Almost as much annoying as that blurry shot!
SFFWorld reviewed the Hardback (HERE) back in 2008.
Some extras though: There's an extract from the Prologue of Book 9, Dust of Dreams in the back, and the inside back cover has a picture of Book 9's cover.
(Again a bad shot: but it is difficult to take a picture and hold the book open, whilst not creasing the book!) Again, enough here to give you the idea.
This all just reminds me that I am soooo far behind with my Erikson reading. So many books, so little time...
Talking of which, am over 150 pages into Drood and still loving it. Very clever, that Simmons chap. A total immersive experience so far.
