Maerad(",)

Cadvan came to Innail, but he has a companion, a girl named Maerad. She was so thin as stick and pale as sheet. No wonder she passed out when Malgorn called me. She is a complete stranger, but i think i like her, she was so innocent in this world. She said that Cadvan rescued her from Gilman's Cot and that she didn't know about bards and schools. It was my first time to meet someone that is so innocent about anything. But that innocence draw me close to her more, like a hungry man to his food.

She seems so mysterious and interesting, she reminded me of Clavia, my daughter. If she was only alive, then she would be in the same age as her. Maerad was wearing rags and dirty clothes, and her face was marked by exhaustion. I cannot imagine her life at Gilman's Cot, or rather, her life with Cadvan on their journey. He was eating Maerad's rations, i guess. Maybe that's why she's thin. That Cadvan really didn't change.

But i already chose her a new dress, a blue dress. It fits her perfectly, it matches her eyes. She was so beautiful when cleaned and she looks terribly like Milana of Pellinor (she's of pellinor anyway. A great news, yes?). Oh, i remembered when Cadvan said that they fought dozens of wers! it was amazing. I can't imagine how a innocent looking face can kill dozens of wers by only a fire. How unbelievable, i didn't know if Cadvan joked that or not.

Change subject. Tomorrow night is The Meet, and I am nervous. Not for myself but for her, what will the people think when they heard that she is from the school of Pellinor? The school that was long lost? I can only think of the possibilities. There is too much mystery in her.
