I am Maerad.
Maerad of Pellinor, that's what they call me.
I am also known as the Fated, the One.
But it's not easy!

I guess you wouldn't know how hard it is to be the Fated One, The Fire Lily, the One who will defeat the Nameless in his darkest rising.

I know what everybody wants me to do.
