Hello sffworld folks,

I have been in the midst of writing my first novel and was directed by some friends to create a blog to gain exposure for my writing. I have been looking specifically for critical input. I don't believe my writing is at its best yet and I am hoping that those who have more experience at it will see what I have written and tell what I can do to improve.

With that said I will be posting the first chapter as it is currently. If anyone is interested go ahead and take a look and see what you think. Constructive critiques are welcome and encouraged.
