Move

Rate this Entry
I just completed a grueling two week move. I had about 80 percent moved on my own but the last 20 percent was the big stuff. Thank God my family was there to help. I still have a long road pulling the house I moved into together because it was my father's, who is living elsewhere, and my Niece and her three kids where there for about two years prior.

I my post some pics as I pull the place together.

Should I post the before where I can barely move an inch?

Definitely. That way we'd be appropriately impressed.

Amazing what one person can accumulate in one life time, huh?

    Good luck!

Here are some inside pictures before I got organized (only slightly better now). LOL.

Awwww, that's it! I've seen way worse. You can snazz up the place in no time! Is that where you write? (4th picture down)

Someone should start a thread where we can post pictures of where we write. I know there is one for famous sci-fi/fantasy writers, but what about OUR writing places.

Yes, but it has changed a bit. That is my work computer. I hadn't set up the old clunker yet. I use my USB memory and the work computer to write/edit because it has office while my home computer has works. I usually upload from the home computer though.

Of course, this is not smell-o-vision, because my neice and her husband were heavy smokers, which I am not. All the walls were yellowed from smoke and the cellar was moldy. My allergies have been fun to live with. The rugs need deep cleaning, although, I plan to change some to wood flooring.

Wood flooring rocks. Carpets are soooo dirty. I feel for you there.

Yikes about the mold and smoke! You'll have to gut the place and get new sheetrock, dude. Really, it is the only way to get rid of that smoke smell. Maybe you can throw a few lavender bombs or something into the place while you go to work?

    Good luck.
