riddles

is anyone else interested in riddles? maybe we could have a comp? anyone interested, or maybe alison has a few for us???:confused:

i think the answer is a shadow.

one colour is black. the closer to the sun, the bigger it gets. rain clouds hide it and it can't feel anything or hurt anyone. is that right?

Ok I've got one:)

I come in different shapes and sizes. Part of me are curves, others are straight. You can put me anywhere you like, but there is only one right place for me.
What am I?
