Dave Wolverton

Has anyone else read this author? I recently found one of his books at a thrift store for a quarter and decided to give it a shot. It was titled Lords of the Seventh Swarm, and I must say I enjoyed it. So I was wondering, is anyone else here a fan? If so, what are some other good books by him.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Is he not also David Farland?

Cadfael December 26th, 2001 08:03 PM

Right... I have not read any Wolverton books, however I have read Runelords...

Bye...

Oh wait... I can hear you saying...

"What the hell has that got to do with this??"

David Wolverton is David Farland, or vice versa, I can heartily recommend the Runelords books.

Really? Well, that goes to show you how much I knew about this fellow. I actually have runelords at my house, and although it's three books down in the pile, I'll be reading it soon. Thanks for the tid-bit.

I read some of his Star Wars stuff. It was OK, I guess.

Sammie December 31st, 2001 07:19 AM

It probably wasn't that good, in that case, since Shehzad tends to rave about stuff he likes!

Shehzad December 31st, 2001 09:19 PM

True Sammie-- but then how good can Star Wars stuff be?

Sammie January 1st, 2002 09:01 AM

*frowns disapprovingly at Shehzad, and returns to watching the excellent original Star Wars trilogy*
