i was on the net yeaterday and i saw that The Crow is coming out mid 2006, I can't wait that long. (whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I've cried an ocean and drowned)

I've Read The Gift and The Riddle so many times I'm surprised its still intact. I GOT A DETENTION FOR READING IT IN CLASS. Boo to you ali for writing so well and not letting me put down the book.

i LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THE BOOKS!

i went on amazon to look at the reviews for the books and everywhere i look it said trilodgy "the gift is the first book of the treesong trilodgy" "the riddle the second book in a magnificent trilodgy" now i wonder do they not realise that a trilodgy means 3 books and that it is infact a series of four books? or am i being silly and trilodgy can describe a series of four books? isnt the name for a four book series a quartet? can someone help enlighten me with the answers to my questions?

I don't remember if you were here the last time, Tari i think, asked that . The answer is that the proper name for a set of four books is tetralogy, wich somehow led to quackology and started the ducks thing lol, fun times...

Hi bridie - to answer your question about the trilogy: when I first imagined it, it was going to be a trilogy. That stopped about two chapters into The Riddle, when I realise that the middle bit was going to take a bit longer than I thought...but Penguin took a while (about a year) to absorb that fact. I still get a bit nervous that they haven't. We shall see!!!

I get it, that's why The Gift says on it "The first book of Pellinor: the treesong trilogy" and The Riddle only says "The 2nd book of Pellinor"

    its a confusing world
