Thread: Catching your eye

Forgot to mention that I got Fahrenheit and it is fantastic. Really intriguing, captivating storyline and very unique gameplay. Whether you would even describe it as a game is debateable - it's more an interactive story. Definately a high point for video game narrative/writing, though, so worth checking out for anybody that is interested in that side of things.

I've got my eyes on a few titles...
Guild Wars 2 (or whatever the heck it'll be called) - I've ploughed hours into the first instalment with plenty more still to come. The free online play is just so great.
Hellgate: London - this looks sweet.
Age of Empires III - loved Age of Kings and dabbled briefly with Age of Mythology. This new one looks the business - they had one guy whose only job was to do the water effects! So he's spent 2 years doing just that! Dedication and detail or what!
Heroes of M and M 5 - looks sweet.
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - see above comment.

Looking forward to whatever they can come up with to go with that Revolution Controller.

Monster Rancher 5 - I can't wait for this title, even though it may be sometime before I get my hands on it.
Dynasty Warriors 5 was catching my eye until I played it at a friend's house and realised I prefer the earlier ones.
After hearing from milamber that Age of Empires is on it's way, it's certainly a title I eagerly await

i agree with everyone who said okami. looks beautiful.
i saw the revolution's controller on g4's coverage of the tokyo game show and i was a little skeptical at first, but i thought of some of the things you could do with it and now it seems pretty cool. i also saw the mgs4 trailer and it looks amazing, although i'm not so sure i like seeing snake so old.
