if you asked me at the beiginning of the riddle id of said Ardina - or even in the middleish - but something about her during her last appearance of the Riddle made me feel a bit funny about Ardina. Dont ask me what, but even though Arkan was so mean i still like him. (Though dont get me wrong; my tent is well pitched in the Maerad-Cadvan camp)

I liked Arkan better! He was great. I mean, what he sent wasn't very nice, but I think he was a decent guy....umm.... immortal! (though definitely amoral, a wonderful adjective for Elidhu that Alison supplied us with

)

He just thinks differently, and doesn't understand a lot of feelings. I believe that he has different ideas of right and wrong, but you can't hate him for that!! And Maerad loves him!!

i wonder could we call maerad an elemental? if yes then shes my fave duh

but if not then i liked arkan, i like the dark characters of a story and this particular dark character was well written, i enjoyed reading the conversations between him and maerad...
