oh yea so they re important
you know that women in the mountains,(forgotten her name!)when maerad was sick as she thought cadvan, imi and darsor were "dead", well how come she knew so much? As she knew about the treesong belonging to the tribe in the north and the jussacks etc! its so strange!
what do you guys think?
her name was Mirka á Hardurak. Well, she was Pilanel, so that would explain her knowledge of the Jussacks but then doesn't she go into some sort of trance when she's talking about the Wise Kindred?

I found Mirka to be a good character, but kind of sad... anyways, I kind of get the feeling that she may have the tinyest bit of the gift in her, that would explain something of her strange episode. Maybe no one really noticed when she was young, and it went wrotten without being apreciated?
Or maybe some higher power used her body to tell Maerad of the Wise Kindred...I don't know...
I think Mirka has the Sight, like Sirkana.
well we know she has the voice
Mirka is a Dhillarerean, which is to say, she has the Gift or what the Pilanel call the Sight (but she isn't a Bard - that's an Annaren/Seven Kingdoms thing, and basically associated with the Schools). So she has the ability to Know, and indeed has visions, and is a healer. But she's also more than half mad. I think she's a sad character, but not tragic: she doesn't feel sorry for herself, and in her own way is quite happy living as she does.
no idea what's just been waffled about..but if Owleye agrees...me too.
OH! Elidhu! extremly important- they are like/equivalent to the forum guidey people (NOW GEMINI!)YAY!![]()
