Tips 4 other writers
Hi, i was just wondering whether anyone out there also writes stories in their own time. Alison, if you're reading, do you have any tips for young writers? I ve just finished proof reading my own book and i'd love it to be published. How did you get yours done? Does anyone have any tips?

don't hurry the story along because you're excited to write the climax, and avoid useless dialogue!!

same it totally holds you back
keep thinking and one day it will come to you
dont go for a plot just because its the only one you can think of at that moment, make sure its perfect and then start writing

I Am Become Death...
I've made a story that I was hoping to get beyond 100,000 words and I MANAGED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a sci-fi with a bit of a mystery to it and loadsa explosions - oh, and the main character's just got crackers
Does that sound good to you??????
I'm stuck now, though, I know what I'm going to write about, it's just the fact that I actually have to do it...

i can't seem to write the book in order so far i have certain scenes where i know what is happening so i write them but its quite hard without a full plot
Where have you had your most inspirational moment to do with a story?
Mine was this year having a shower on a boat in the norfolk broads and i had LOADS of ideas. Sadly i did try that a second time and it didnt work
I always find it easier to be inspired in the country i don't know why but town just seems to enclose all my ideas. Anyone ever get that feeling?

i dond´t like cities much...too bad i live in one...
the best ideas i get when i´m on my apple tree (yes, i do send a lot of time there
) or taking a bath ^.^
i also like art galleries, or places with a lot of books...and parks...and places that have a history, you can feel...i don´t know how to put that in words...but let´s say: i visited this castle, and there was a really big window, with red, blue, green, and yellow glass, and the sun was shining through it. it was in a hallway, it was empty except for me...but at the same time you could imagine how people used to go through this hallway all the time, on their way to dinner, or to take a bath, or to go to the library...stuff like that...that inspires me...okay...i´m weird...let´s face it...i love history though
