I think Johnny Depp is one of the most amazing actors, but I'm not sure he would be a good Cadvan. I don't think Cadvan is odd enough for him. He might do a good Arkan though. I'm pretty sure he can sing, I think he did his own voice for Sweeney Todd.

ah, sweet confirmation! (to that fact that Johnny is even more talented than i thought <3)...and yeah, its true that he probably wouldn´t be satisfied with Cadvan as a character.

So Johnny as Arkan and Ewan as Cadvan?

At least when we lose Cadvan in The Riddle at least we´ll have Johnny as Arkan too make up for the lost hotness, only hoping that his makeup doesn´t overbear that too much xD

hmmm johnny depp no i think he could do cadvan but there might be someone better that suits cadvan but it would be nice to have him play cadvan he is ... there isnt a word good enough to describe him!

Old thread, I know, but I was watching kids shows this morning (

) and I stumbled on a British show called MI High. I think the side-kick character, who goes by the name Frank London played by Jonny Freeman would be an excellent Cadvan (he's 30 yo as well)!

I think Richard Armitage would be PERFECT for the role, he fits the description and has Cadvan disposition!

he has a very strong scottish accent but he can do others aswell. also he was the phantom in phantom of the opera if anyone wants to check out his singing???

I like Gerard Butler in "Attila the Hun", but I liked Richard Armitage in "North and South" better.

They're both good, but neither is quite perfect....

I think that people are forgetting that Cadvan is a 34/35 year old and that he needs to have chemistry with a 16-18 year old female actress hence why I am suggesting:
