Thread: Any good zombie books?

    Any good zombie books?

    I enjoyed watching zombie movies.
So I was wondering if there any good zombie books.
I read some of the Resident Evil adaptation and they were ok, just not great.
I only heard of a few like city of the dead or that survivers guide?
    Any recommendations?

As I said in a post yesterday - Autumn by David Moody was good. You can download the first book for free on his site. Just google - Autumn by David Moody. I just read it over the weekend.

Monster Island is the start of a 3 book trilogy by David Wellington. I've not finished it yet, but its one of the better zombie books I have read now. There is another one I picked up that is good called Dead City (no its not City of the Dead), by Joe McKinney.

    Thanks for the plug Axe.
You can take a look at a nine chapter preview at the Rise and Walk website. You can read it online on download a PDF file. There are also links to reviews by many good websites, author interviews and even an article about the design of the cover. Take a look if you have time and see why Rise and Walk has become the number one ranked title in Horror at Lulu.com
Thank you very much for your support.

    Reborn

I'm working on a book as well. It will be a 3 book series by the time I am done. For the time being, until I can get it published, I am uploading new chapters all the time. I'm just at the beginning though. Right now the only parts up are the synopsis and preface. The story shares many common aspects of your typical zombie apocolypse but there are going to be some major differences and suprises along the way. If you are interested just stop by my website at http://www.coldsuncreations.com.

    Regards,
    ColdSun

Just read The Rising by Keene. Loved the book, hated the ending.
