Does anyone here use Blogit?

I noticed it a while back and, whilst the idea behind it seems sound enough, i'm still not 100% sure whether it would be worth joining or not. I was just wondering whether anyone here uses it as a method of displaying their writing, or a similar such site, and whether they feel it to be worthwhile?

I apologise if this seems like an advertisment, in no way do i intend it to be. I simply wish to gain an insight into how other writers feel about such websites as the one mentioned above, and whether they are effective.

In my little experience with it, I find most new writers displaying their work on blogs or elsewhere are truly only interested in their own work, as is everyone else not published. If you're published, it would be a great idea, but otherwise I found it a waste of time.
