who is your fave character?

okay..... really lame but i was thinking who my best and all time fave charactor was and it gt me thinking!! i bet loads will say cadvan especially mrs.c but i really like hem/cai or Dernhil!

i am so confused! what do you guys think?

honestly i have to say that i think cadavn is probably a great guy (knowing i'll get my head chopped off if i say he isn't) but i probably prefer Maerad jsut becasue she's the main character and becasue of how important she is. We seem to know her better as a person whereas we don't understand in great depth what cadavn thinks and feels.

I can see why you like Hem and Dernhil, Dernhil was a very easy to like character and if you think aboutit we are going to learn a lot more about Hem in The Crow, so yeah thats what i think

even though i love cadvan, i agree with you about him being really quiet!!

But your right about Hem, we'll learn way more about him in the crow! yay! (can't wait to get it!!)

but the mysteriousness of Cadvan IS part of his character... its who he is.

yes sneka we know you like Cadvan, its a shame we have to wait soooo long for the Crow, i'm really excited about it. Oh something else exciting i've got my dad to read the books as well as he really likes them too

Cadvan is definitely my favourite character although i am very fond of Dernhil as well.I was really upset when i found out Cadvan and Maerad weren't going to be in the Crow and we would have to wait until the Singing to hear more about them.

just because you lot want to see what happens between Maerad and Cadvan

(i can't really blame you) BUT Hem is meant to be REALLY important to the rest of the story and the Treesong, so i'm going to enjoy reading about him.

What about Sylvia? I'm not sure if she's my favourite but she does deserve a mentiion. She's the first mother figure that Maerad has known for a long time, and treats her in just the right way for Maerad to become comfrotabel around Bards.

why do you like indik, bridie? I wouldn't have picked him.... dont know why, i think its because to begin with Maerad really doesn't liek him and that jsut rubbed off on me.

its hard to explain... umm.... *thinks hard* well its because he is such a nice guy beneath his hard super cool exterior. Like when he gets at m its just because he wants the best for her. And also because he can pick a good people from the bad ect.
