Favourite moment in the Pellinor series

I was wondering what everybodys fave moment in the Pellinor books is, this can include single sentences or whole paragraphs and chapters even.

One of my favourite moments was in the Gift when Maerad falls asleep outside and Cadvan comes out and brushes the hair out of her face. It was the first thing that made me think that Cadvan and Maerad could maybe end up falling for each other.

same one- it was just so sweet.
Also, at the end of the riddle, from when Maerad bounds up to Cadvan as a wolf....to when they set out together....into the sunset...

I have a few favourite moments, including both those already mentioned.

But for some reason I've always really liked the chapters at Ankil's house.

Oh, and the moment on the boat... every M+C supporter has to love that

i have to say all those mentioned are some of my favorite parts as well

another part was the time when maerad turns the hull into a rabbit, just thought it was funny

also her first conversation with the winterking about what is a lie and truth and the difference between the light and the dark, because it makes so much sense

but i have to say that every single word is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, i wasn't cut out, i think (i remember someone saying that as well) they were mistaken or something. The moment i'm refering to is when Cadvan and Maerad have that convo where he mentions that she looked like Ardina (but Maerad thinks he really meant Ceredin) in the moonlight.

I have many favorite moments, most of them are the ones already mentioned.

I also like the scene in the Broken Teeth when Maerad sees Cadvan fall off Darsor and has that flashback of her father, and then comes into her Gift, I found it to be very emotional and intense and a crucial turning point in the story.

    Spoiler:
I also like the scene where Maerad sees Ardina after she thinks she sees Cadvan and Darsor die. It was very cool.

Yes I thought it was funny too, but it was also an important part of the story. After all, there's so much fantasy out there that conveniently ignores the fact that women get periods (perhaps because traditionally, fantasy is cocnerned with male adventures and male authors?). Apart from tamora pierce's books, i can't think of any other fantasy novels that deal with this fact of life (there are probably others but i either haven't read or come across them). And rather than continuing the old line about periods being "dirty" and a "curse", Alison has turned it into an empowering thing, which i think is good.

Besides that, my favourite bit of the series would be when
    Spoiler:
Maerad and Cadvan reunite at the end of the Riddle
, or maybe the very start of The Gift, when Maerad senses Cadvan's presence and they meet for the first time. I can see that scene so clearly.

Yes thats true- I like the way that Maerad is also prtrayed as embarrassed about being a lad and having to sleep in the same room as Cadvan- not many authors remember things like that. It's the small details like that that always seem to be over looked.
