wow this is really hard. why would someone voluntarily follow a car with only a couple of inches gap between them?
i dont get it... you have really good riddles rheingold!!
hmm lets see: they were travelling in convoy? but that doesn't really explain the couple of inches. maybe he was trying to read the bumper sticker on the car in front but it was in really fine print!

lol, thanks. I get most of them from books, or from family members/friends who got them from books, but this one actually happened to someone I know!
Both of those are wrong. I'd suggest finding out where they are; that's usually a good first step in solving riddles, unless the location is given (as it will be in the next one....)

wow starlily, with capital letters and all!
ok so are the cars in traffic?
are they in a city?
is it raining?
random question..
is there a traffic accident?
are they moving slowly?
are they moving quickly?
are they surrounded by other cars? (this probably would be answered by the previous question about traffic)
are their wheels touching the road? (well, they could be on a truck or on a airoplane, surrounded by other cars)(but then, the people wouldn't be in the cars, would they? lol)
hehe random questions because This Is Really Hard!!! lol

thanks, sometimes i am creative, but really that got me no where!
so all we know is that: (another list!)
- there are two cars, one following the other
- the drivers dont know each other
- there is a gap of a couple of inches between the cars, which is a voluntary choice on the second driver's part
- they are in traffic
- they are travelling slowly
- they are normal cars
anything else we already know that is important?
are the cars attached to each other in any way?
is the first driver a hot chick and the second driver a guy who is perving??? nah, i didnt think so! hehe
hmm creativity ebbing, ill get back to you!

Yes, you know that it doesn't matter if they're in a city or not, you know that it has nothing to do with the weather, et c. Sometimes what you know to be false is as important as what you know to be true.
No, it doesn't matter which gender the drivers are. And the second driver isn't sexually interested in the first driver at all, lol.

lol that was just a random thought. was the second driver late for something and so was trying really hard to go faster, hence the little gap?
wait, you said location was important. or did you? i cant remember! i thought you did bt you said it didnt matter whether or not they're in a city!!! confusing
anyway this is hard, can we have a hint!?! pretty please

The second driver was actually in a hurry to get somewhere, but I promise you that it's gonna mislead you if you think about it. S/he wasn't late for work or anything.
A different kind of location is important.
Hint: the second driver is doing something rather illegal.

*shakes hair* :D
umm was the driver going through a red light? or did was the car supposed to stop at a road crossing or sumthin but didn't leave it clear so they went right up behind the other one in odreder todo so. Or if it was the red light one then they are in a hurry so they go throuhgt the light and try to get as close as possible to the other car so it looks as if they arent doing anthing wrong?? am i close??
