    The Revenge of the Elves.

Just wondering when the fourth instalment is due? Trying to measure how much time I have to get through the first three books....

    ......which I'm loving, btw

EDIT: Ooops, nevermind, I just found out it's due in April 07. Though I suppose there's no harm in confirming this date

    Hey Mike!

April is the projected date. But I'm running a little late. I'm working with a new editor who is amazing! But she's really pushing me to make this book the best one yet. I've been rewriting and rewriting, and honestly, I'm not done. So.....

I'm still hoping for April. My publisher asked for the manuscript by July 1 but that's just not possible. Aug 1 I think I can deliver it. If that doesn't throw the entire schedule off, then Dec is slated for pre-pub copies and april to the street.

Glad you are enjoying the first three!!!

Windstorm is still publishing the books, right?

I hear there's a really fabulous cover for book four. I wonder...

After seeing the first three books I wouldn't be surprised!

So far I liked The Awakening cover most; certainly look forward to seeing book four

The elves are always working in the background. Scroll down to the covers. The top half is the front and the bottom half, the back.

If someone can figure out how to post it here instead of a link, please do so.

Heh, I've got the collage of the three covers as my desktop background. Later today I'll try and post the cover here.

LOL, I just experimented with the pic Gary posted, though it proved too big for the desktop

Wow, a stunning image. But also a little different from the other three, though. Less surreal, more traditional realistic art. No blurry form melded into a sepia tree here. Was that a deliberate choice, Gary?

Can someone copy the cover into that thread we had on striking cover art? Might be nice to revive it on our homeboy.

Yes, it was a choice KatG. When (and if??) you read this book, you'll understand the cover much better. It's quite deliberate.

I'm not sure how RobB posted this here. I've tried and I've not been able to, so if he will oblige us, I'd love to see it on the other thread.

I saved it from dead_cities to my home PC and uploaded it to my Flickr account at the following URL:

Conversely, you can steal it from the Dead Cities page and hotlink it:

Well, it's done. Now I can look forward to the ARCs in December.
