My current Facebook profile photo, messing around with some of the lighting fixtures here in my office. Comes across as very Doctor Who-ish (but definitely one of the single-digit Doctors as opposed to the hip newer ones).

Looks like you are rocking an Obi Wan Kenobi goatee there, DR.
Full-on Obi-Wan beard, actually.

It's funny, but when you don't know what a forum member looks like, I think to some degree or another you associate them with their avatar. Ironic that DR actually does kind look like Obi Wan Kenobi. Or was the avatar intentional?
I recently got back into my other hobby: Shooting people with paintball guns. Here's a photo someone took of me at an event I attended about a month ago:
On boxing day I went and squandered my money on a couple on new guns, one of which is a little novelty two-shot pistol called the Goblin. I put a mischievous looking picture of myself with the gun on facebook just to scare the **** out of everyone:

Time to take the plunge - not sure if this will work, but here goes. How do people put actual pics up anyway?

Me drinking a glass of red wine in the evening taking in the view of the Colliseum in Rome.
How's the image url part work - there are some things I just don't get. Do I have to have it loaded somewhere else or can I just take it from where I have it save?? Thanks for the assistance, I just need more.
Yeah. It has to be either from a website (hence the url) or on an image site like Image Shack (which I usually use myself.) that you can upload from. Sites like Image Shack give you an address that you can cut and paste into the link.
You can do it from sites like Facebook, but you need to make sure you copy the actual location of the image to put between the [img]'s.
Hope that helps, DD.
