I agree with the beard thing, I've had one for years and don't regret it. Maybe because Fantasy readers are more relaxed?? And there has to be something better than scraping your face every morning with a razor sharp blade, ughh

I don't know if I'm so much relaxed. I just hate shaving, and a beard seemed like the easiest way around that. But maybe beards are just in. Who knows?

But I have a more recent picture now, with my hair actually cut and my beard trimmed. Plus a word bubble.

Lol, my husband has a beard for the exact same reason. I'm surprised more men don't have beards. It must be such a pain to have to shave every single morning.

A competition whereby the entrants (like myself) cook a batch of chili and it is judged for taste, spiciness, etc against other participants. I entered last year, didn't do so well. This year, I won the People's Choice award.
