Heh. It's funny, 'cos I always just associate each person with their avatar. It doesn't matter what the avatar actually is, I just make an assumption somewhere in my brain that whoever is typing behind the avatar looks something like their avatar. (Which is ridiculous, I know. Especially with people like Hobbit, who have cookie monster as theirs.) My brain is suddenly challenged to think a completely different way when I see actual pictures of people. I have a hard time picturing that person actually being the person I've been talking to these past months. Y'know?

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I still think Hoodwink as the guy he has as his avatar, same with DailyRich. It's repetition. We always see our avatars next to our posts. Those images are bound to get seared into our brains.
