Please tell anybody who may be interested. It's next to impossible for a novel to hit unless, like music, you've had one hit before.

and pass the good word.
it does sound very interesting.
I will try to get it.

Thanks Miriamele! Yeah, the tattoo artists usually had a bit of trouble with the concept when I'd explain it to them, and it would take an hour or two to get the design straightened out.Originally Posted by Miriamele

Phantos- great pictures! Usually you see someone's avatar and you can be pretty sure that it doesn't look anything like them in real life. Yours has at least the right moustache, though! That's very cool.
Not sure if these will work, but...
I agree, Archen, I love the tattoos... here's my left calf, while we're at it.

Great pictures everyone!
Nice Tattoo Evil ... makes me want to get some elvish script emblazoned on my ass cheek.
Don't quite know why though
Those are gorgeous designs, Evil. I'm amazed at that JRRTolkein monogram, I'd forgotten all about it until I saw it, but it's so distinctive. The celtic knotwork fits it perfectly.
Where did you find the bird design, or did you draw it yourself? It's beautiful!
Shy?

Thanks for the tattoo compliments. Yes, I like the Tolkien symbol, it definitely ties the band together, which is what I was looking for. Also, it sort of symbolizes my intense love of Lord of the Rings, without being too over the top (i.e. a tattoo of gollum or something like that!).
The celtic ravens are actually by a great celtic artist named Jen Delyth, I'm sure you'll find something if you google her name. The instant I saw the ravens, I knew I wanted it as a tattoo.
Nice guitar, juzzza!

Awesome tattoos, EA. I especially love the colours in the ravens.![]()
Way cool pics, Juzz. I especially like the one with the picture frame in behind, it manages to make you look--dare I say it--sophisticated.![]()
awesome tattoos evil i like the subtility of your tolkien one. Juzza i have seen pics of already from his myspace.![]()
we should start a sffworld members tattoo thread where people just post tattoos
Since we're doing tattoos as well: This is my left half-sleeve. The flash on the camera seems to have given it a bit of a washed out look, but you get the idea.
I've always wanted a decent piece of irezumi and you still don't see many koi (carp) as subject matter here in Dublin, although they're very popular elsewhere. I got this done by Mo Coppoletta of 'The Family Business Tattoo Shop' in London.
My other arm is black and grey, a bit more of a hybrid since it was done piece by piece in New York and later on Dublin. Maybe I'll post it another time.
And come on people- more pictures please!![]()
I don't have any good photos of my tats, but I can share this one:
(we recorded in an empty oil tank, a reverb experiment for a yet to be released 3way split.)
