Our aspirations and needs (once we take into account the bare neccesities) are as individual and dynamic as we are.
The "most important thing" varies from person to person and even then every individuals "most important thing" can change as life goes on.
It boils down to what you want out of life.
I think security and confort are pretty universal though.

The most important thing is the thing you are currently consciously lacking. So if you are lacking nothing then you are a happy person which is important too.
