TV Shows you Watch
I thought I would start this thread about TV shows, because I was wondering who is watcing the new shows, or continuing with the old ones.
I have started watching the new show Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip. I missed the pilot but you can watch the whole pervous episode on the web site, so I watched it there.
Studio 60 Home Page
It is the new show from Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme who did West Wing. The dialog is fabulous and the characters/actors are good to, if a little too blowdried.
I also have been watching Rescue Me this year, though it has finished for the year. It was the 3rd season and I got the first 2 on DVD.
I also got hooked on The Deadliest Catch which was about fishing for crab in Alaska. That is over too, not sure if it will be back.
I really like the history and science shows on cable: History-International, National Geo, Science channel, Discovery-Times channel, PBS, and sometimes the History channel when its not running WWII/Civil War 24/7.
Ocasionally a movie on the free movies channels.
Other than that I only watch NFL football, the sports shows about football, and the NFL network.

there's lots of shows I like but I never get the time to watch them.
Puppets Who Kill is a great show.
I always get a kick out of the Daily Show.
Still love the Futurama reruns
My favourite tv show going is the HBO Rome one. I bought the dvds the other day and that whole first season was outstanding.

I have seen the Daily Show but it never clicked with me. I like the other one The Colbert Report, but only catch it now and then. I usually change the channel when he brings out the guest, cause I find that part boring.
I have heard HBOs Rome was good, but I don't get HBO, so I haven't seen it. They had some horrible mini-series on regular TV last year. Saw the first Episode and bagged it.

I've been renting Dead Like Me from Netflix, though I'm almost fnished with it. After that I'm going to see what Wonderfalls is like.
On TV I've been watching Project Runway, the last episode should be coming up soon.
For the new season I've watched Gilmore Girls (it's getting old, but I've been watching it since it first aired.)
America's Top Model (mindless yet entertaining
)
Ugly Betty (I thought I would like this because it has America Ferrera in it, but I didn't care for it)
And I also want to see what Heroes is about, I have it set to record on the DVR.

I really don't watch much tv. About the only show I've watched regularly over the past few years is CSI. And sometimes I watch reruns of The Family Guy, Mythbusters or Star Trek TNG. I'm much more a computer person than a tv person.

It's interesting that more than one person has said this here but- I don't really watch a lot of TV right now.
If my wife turns it on at dinner, I watch or other times she has it on. But left to my own devices, it's rarely on right now. I attribute in large part to the fact that everything is available on DVD now, so you can watch it whenever. With regard to that I buy a lot of shows.Firefly, Alias, 24, Lost.

Overlord
I really can't get enough of FSC (Fox Soccer Channel) and also of shows about the search for alien life and extra-solar planetary systems on the Science Channel. (I just got digital cable, btw, definately a great investment)
