Pearl Jam.
The cd is Riot Act, the song of the day, Bu$hleaguer.
One of the best lines written:
Born on third, thinks he hit a triple.

Jeff Buckley - Lover, you should've come over
Because when the accordian intro just came on my iPod, I said "Aaaaaaaah, yea... GREAT TUNE!"

Awesome song, awesome artist.
There's something cosmic about the tragedy of him and his father. Tim Buckley was a favorite of mine. He pushed the envelope before there even was one.
You know that today is Janis Joplin's birthday. She would have been 63. ****.

Yes, I did. A while ago. I bet most people here don't even know who Jeff Buckley was, let alone Tim Buckley.

Nope, never heard of 'em. But I was very impressed, Gary, that you knew "Gut Feeling."
My song is "Arabian Nights" Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Sorry, this should be Arabian Knights

Justin and I are both music freaks. There's not a lot artists I'm totally unfamiliar with, and if I am, I ask him.
But I have to admit that you stumped me today with this one. Now I've got to go searching Rhapsody.

Tim Buckley was incredible. You should listen at least to Sing a Song for You from the album Happy/Sad and Happy Time from Morning Glory. He unfortunately was a junkie and some of his music got a little nuts. But it was intense and beautiful, all at the same time.
Jeff sounded hauntingly like him, even though they hardly knew each other when Tim Buckley was alive. It's like the John/Sean Lennon thing. But Jeff, IMHO, had more talent than the younger Lennon. At least more raw talent.

Sunday's song:
Rejoyce, Jefferson Airplane from After Bathing at Baxters.
It's still relevant, still smart, still excellent.

Grant my last request - Paulo Nutini... a brilliant, brilliant song for any fan of singer-songwriters. Great lyrics and beautiful melodies and what's more, the kid ain't even twenty! It's scary!
