What would you have done (The Riddle spoilers)

What would you have done if you were Maerad talking to the Winterking??? Would you have acted as maerad did? Or would you have stayed quiet. Or would you have done something else???

I personaly would have reacted the same as Maerad did. With all she went through, the sacrifices, I mean, when he "Killed"

Cadvan I was on the verge of tears.

So I would have blown up like Maerad.

I think that she should have sat down firstly and then realsied what an idiot the Winterking is. Not fall in love with him!

Could this be a general what would you have done or is it an only Winterking one?

Ok ok ok...............I'll make it a general what would you have done thread.......................and in that case when Cadvan got "killed" and Maerad had the chioce weather to live or die, I would have chosen to live, the thought of dieing is creepy........I also had a feeling that Cadvan was alive still. If he was realy dead I would have bawled like a little girl

Cadvan is my favorite guy charactor...........

I'm not sure what i would have done. i suspect i would be so depressed it would be pretty close...but that was ardina's test of M's ''strength of spirit'' and all that sooo if i were Maerad i probably would've done the same. i don't think that made sense but hey.

If I was Maerad.....let's just say there would be alot more slapping in the book.

There are so many situations in the book (only read the 1st one) where I would have acted differently than one or more of the characters. So I was wondering what parts, scenes, situations, etc. you would have done differently than the characters, doesn't matter which one. Just write what they did and what you would do differently.

In the scene with Dernhil, I would have definitely kissed him back, for one. He reminds me a lot of my boyfriend

I'm almost certain of it, I just have no idea where it is, a search is warranted!

A note to new members, one of the rules is to check existing threads befre making a new one to make sure that one like it doesn't already exist, saves Bridie and me having to merge threads.

ETA: Threads merged, while one was about Maerad's decision in Riddle and the other was more general, in the interests of... organisation (?) they've come together.

I would probably freak out at Arkan. If I'm under a lot of pressure I'm very snappy so I'd probably march right up to him and slap him across the face and tell him off.
