I would say
Any character from the WoT series and the Belgariad/Mallorean series

I agree the characters from the Belgariad/Mallorean (David Eddings) series and also from the Thomas Covenant (Stephen R. Donaldson) series are the best. I would also add Simkin from the Darksword Trilogy (Margaret Weis and Terry Hickman) and Orlando from the Otherland (Tad Williams) series. I got to also put in Roland from The Dark Tower (Stephen King) series.

There are so many more that have already been listed also. All of the memorable books have the best characters in them. And there are still so many left to read! YAY!
