OOH you've read Kate Constable? You're the only other person who seems to know who she is , have all three books been released over there, b/c the third just came out here....

BTW, Kate Constable wrote The Singer of all Songs trilogy, starts with 'The Singer of all Songs', then 'The Waterless Sea' and the third is 'The Tenth Power'. They're kind of aimed at younger readers i think, but they're still good and they are kind of Pellinor-esque.

Kate Constable is a great author! and I'm not sure if all the books have come out in the U.S. yet because I order the majority of my books from amazon. *shrugs*

Tamora Pierce is the author of The Lady Knight Series *Keladry*, The Lady Alanna Series, and the Trickster series. Sherwood Smith wrote the popular novel "Crown Duel". Victoria Hanley wrote "The seer and the sword", "The Healers Keep", and "Light of the oracle." And Shannon Hale is the author of the award-winning book "Goose Girl".

I think everyone here knows who Tolkien is. lol
