Ooohh! Now I'm all psyched up for Brisingr as well! Onoes! The tension and the waiting has just increased by about 33%!
('Onoes'= 'Oh no' in my friend's strange slang lingo)

I know. It's hilarious to make fun of. It makes a good read, but it's no masterpiece.
(Sorry 'bout the Spoiler!!!! I feel bad, now...)
August 26th, 2008, 12:59 PM #4673hey now, its not fair to bash someone's work; the movie of Eragon wasn't the best, I'll admit that, but to people who enjoy that series, that seemed a little rude
.
we all learned about bashing when talking about twilight..lets not start that again please.
August 26th, 2008, 01:02 PM #4674I really like the books, and i don't like leaving a series without ending it, i need to know what happens!
The movie would have been better if they had stuck more to the story!

I never bashed anything! It's hilarious to make fun of LOTR as well! Have you seen Fraud of the Rings? (
)
I even said it was a good read!
I just think that it could've been a bit more original.
August 26th, 2008, 03:22 PM #4676hey guys, ive been off for awhile, and now i am back to haunt you!
MWAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyway a few pages back people kept saying that in eclipse some guys died, but those where bad guys!!!!ffs we need a few tragic deaths of good guys
and i cant wait for brisingr too....i think its possible that brom will be eragons dad,but i hope that he and arya dont fall in love, murtagh will never go with nasuada, much more likely he will kill himself to break the vows he made to galbati..blah blah blah...
i am reading maximum ride right now,i cant put it donw, but when i do,i think and realise how totally crap it is.....

Lol- It's haunting, á la Migey!

I read Maximum ride. It's not my favourite.
Finished Narnia- all of them, and now I'm half-way through 'Innocent traitor' by Alison Weir. It's just my cup of tea: Historical and dramatic, with a tragic ending.

August 26th, 2008, 07:38 PM #4679I went to a yardsale and found a ton of old books from the 1900's-1930's; they're actually really good!
"The Golden Key" (1926, short stories) is particulary good with description

Cool! Finished 'Innocent traitor', now re-reading 'The Boleyn Inheritance' by Philippa Gregory- a sequel to 'The Other Boleyn Girl', following the stories of Katherine Howard, Anne of Cleves, and Jane Boleyn, Lady Rochester. (Wife of Anne Boleyn's brother, George.)
