I love controversial topics and I read the DaVinci Code a couple years back, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

controversial topics for me= not good. I am afraid that I might get...well, influenced? by the book. But I will try to read it, because almost everyone in my Book Lovers Club reads it. :/

the da Vinci code is really good and so is the lost symbol but for some reason I just couldn't get into angels and demons I eventually gave up and watched the movie.. I'm thinking about trying to read it again.

I'm not exactly faithful in the way that I go by everything that the Bible says, I go by what I find morally sound. I just heard that it's realllly good. Remember, even though something might be influential, try to keep an objective view before making any decisions or you can just enjoy it and keep your own personal beliefs.

*agrees* I've also found that what you read is influential just recently...

Hmm..I'll try to do that. I am easily influenced, a manner of mine that I am trying to remove.

Everything has influence, it's just more subtle in more places than others.

I really shouldn't have done it, but I did. But, it can act as a tester, so it can help to get you interested in a book.

I do not quite agree to that (I am a pessimist, no? ) because you will know what will happen already. :/
