Hello all!

I've posted in a couple of other threads already, but I just wanted it's good to be back here. Haven't been here in about six years, and I was still registered, and I've actually managed to get my writing life back on track. I write mainly Science Fiction, though I write other types of fiction that don't quite fit anywhere else except maybe fantasy.

Always liked posting here, but things just got in the way in life

But I'm here to hopefully get some writing done and meet(and remeet) some good people here.

My favorite literary genre is definitely fantasy. I'm specially fond of Tolkien (my favorite writer), Juliet Marillier, George R.R. Martin, Anne Bishop and Jacqueline Carey. I hope I can find new authors around here

So, I'd been lurking for a couple of hours when it became apparent that this forum is a place I would really enjoy.

Like many, I aspire to write, but my aspiration outstrips my persipration, and that's to say nothing of the day job, which I'm reliably informed one must never give up. I'll work out how to do it one of these days.

I've been posting on some fantasy forums over the years, most recently as Shryval at the Stephen Erikson dedicated malazanworld.com, and once upon a time at various Robert Jordan sites as ukDarkhound. If you've ever seen any of my posts you'd recognise that I have a deadful penchant for puns.

These days I'm enjoying Scott Lynch, Neil Gaiman, China Mieville, GRRM, Steven Erikson, and on the TV it's Heroes, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica and just about any cookery show.

Looking forward to making your myriad acquaintances
