Is there any word on when the final Acts of Caine book will be released?

Not sure, I know they will be coming out through Del Rey, but when? Don't know.
However, next month he is making his hardcover debut with the Star Wars Prequel novel: Shatterpoint. I believe it features Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson's character).

Yes, that seems like an interesting story, especially after the apparent success with Traitor.
I wanted to give Stover a try, but I'd like for the Acts of Caine series (trilogy) to be completed when I start.

Mithf, don't know how long the series will be, IIRC, there will be at least 2 more books in the series.

Heros Die is definitely on my summer reading list.
Just interested though - Is that Stover's first novel? If not is it advisable to read any of his other work before starting on HD?
And what of his Starwars novels? Are they some sort of fanfic? Cos that would be sci-fi as opposed to fantasy...

Heroes Die was not MWS's first novel. He wrote a duology - Iron Dawn and Jericho Moon before HD.

But are Iron Dawn and Jericho Moon in any way related to Heros die?

Re: Flagg...the name was getting clunky for me. Also inspired by my current read Golden Fool to simply be "Fitz"
Fanfic is more unauthorized stuff.
Yes, the SW novels are more towards Science Fiction, Traitor was still a rollicking read and I have no doubts the same will be said about Shatterpoint. Either way, WELL worth reading.

Iron Dawn and Jericho Moon are NOT in the same series as Heroes Die.

Read Stover, don't wait for the Caine series to be finished. Each book is a self-contained story, with a definite beginning and ending.
I repeat: READ STOVER.
