hey now, there is nothing wrong with healthy squeeing

i do believe i was the first to mention BB as a canidate, and only after everyone said he was too young did i convert to RA...so yes, as Ben is my husband, I do believe that he should be cadders, but try telling that to the others

I think the best person for the role of Cadvan if they made a movie would be Viggo Mortensen, who played Aragorn in Lord of the Rings. He's 52, but he looks like he is 20, and has that slightly 'worn out' look Cadvan is supposed to have. Plus, VM is totally cute!

Yes, but if they made a movie they would HAVE to avoid LotR parallels at all costs. I mean, I love the series, but the plot of The Gift is fairly similar to LotR and the feeling of the series is similar. There's nothing actually wrong with that, and the books get more and more original as they go on, but it's only us that know that. People who went to see the movie would see only: "Fantasy movie. Check. LotR cast. Check." and slate it.

I know we shouldn't be so worried about what people think about the possible film and the books, but I would hate to see people being unfair about the movie when the books are so brilliant.
