Who is your favorite character in the Pellinor series?

I know this has probably been posted before, but I really want to know who everyone's favorite character is and why.
My favorite charater of course is Cadvan, because he is so heroic and and gentle.
I know this is kind of worthless since a lot of people if not all are going to put Cadvan, but I wanna see if I can be proved wrong!

I said other. My favourite character would have to be Dernhil. I know he died in the middle of The Gift, but he still struck me as a special character, very special. And I feel he'll have some impact in The Singing.

And then I love Soron, I took an instant liking to him in the Crow. I was fond of Ankil as well. I grew to like Zelika, she was an extremely well-written character. I'd love to get to know more about Anhil, I think I'd like him. And Dharin, I liked him alot as well, and was sad at his passing.

I think i prefer minor characters.
But i do love Maerad and Cadvan, just not as much as some.

I liked: Mirka, Dharin, and Arkie...

But also Cadvan and Maerad, though Maerad is my favourite of those two, shamefully enough. I just think I'd get along well with her... but don't worry, I am in love with Cadders!!!

Characters I don't like: Enkir, 'cause he sucks; Lothar, 'cause he's a bit rude; Nerili, 'cause she's in the way of M+C; Sharma (duh) and the Hulls.

Cadvan of course!! Can't really say why because i'll just get all mushy and corny he's sweet generous(sp?) intelligent and gentle( told ya i'd get a little corny)

I was going to choose Maerad, but instead I chose Cadvan. Why?

Because of the fact that he's always honest and caring. He's a good guide and you can tell he is wise. He makes sacrifices for people he cares about and all of his friends love him and rely on him. He is also complicated and his past is mysterious to me as of yet.

That is my opinion, having 400/500 pages read of Book 1.

I have to choose Cadvan. I mean, beyond the kind/intelligent/interesting/funny/sweet/if I had a boyfriend he would be Cadvan/etc, he is... okay, I can't quite figure it out. I guess it is just the lack of people like him in the real world that I am always drawn to characters like that. Or maybe it's becuse, if I had a choice, that is exactly who I would want to be. Of course, there is a definete lack of hulls to fight on this planet, so that makes it hard... Boring Earth! Figures I got stuck on the dull planet.

Now befor eyou kill me please let me explain

Alison creates a mental image with sharma without the use of words to describe him, as she does with the others, I also like the fact that he's evil and he's evil properly.

Unlike Enkir who uses people's weaknesses and clings to those with supeiriority above him for support.
However Sharma does it all on his own Its quite remarkable.

I'd like to point out that Cadders does have flaws guys; he can be arrogant, he does tend to argue quite a bit, and is somewhat reserved, to name a few things; YES. I love him. BUT! i just wanted to point that out for those who have forgotten that Cadvan is just another being. with that said....

Look at us, gossiping about a book character. Wow Alison really makes her characters seem sooooo real! You get so attached! It's just so sad there are any people on this planet that are like Cadvan! Sometimes this planet is sooooo boring! I agree with you completely Savendia! Wouldn't it be cool if we could live in Edil-Amaranah? (I forgot how to spell it I don't have the book with me right now!)
