Why change Asha's name and not the Wildling's name. Unless Osha plays a much bigger part in the next novels, it seems quite silly.

I 'uno, but the chick playing Osha was very good. I really enjoyed her scenes, so maybe they are going to make the most of using her?

Right now, it looks like they've probably eliminated the Reed children (and probably given their roles over to Osha). Not a fan of that decision (or the Yara name change), but oh well...

I was hoping the Reed children will play a bigger role in the later books, them and Bran. Leaving them out of season two doesn't bode well as it makes them look like filler characters.

I don't think you can get rid of the Reed children, but we'll see what they do. That would be a very big change.

Yup, it sounds like the Reeds are gone and other characters like Shireen and Selyse may be reduced to extras at best. More baffling is the absence of Ramsay Bolton.

It's been suggested that Season 2 may not cover fully up to the end of ACoK and may end a few chapters before the book does. That just (with a bit of handwaving) means that they can get Ramsay and the Reeds in right at the start of Season 3.

Here are 17 photos from Season 2. Very, very impressed by most of them. Brienne is simply perfect, IMO! Also good is Balon Greyjoy, Bran/Hodor, Stannis/Melisandre, etc.
