Obtuse, I HATE you! What is this store? Is it a big chain? Could there be one anywhere in Mississippi?

I am so glad to see The Wayfarer Redemption on your list. The six books in that series are incredible......I reread them every year or so.
My latest buys are Ysabel (Kay), the last five Sookie Stackhouse books (Charlaine Harris), the latest Merry Gentry Book (Hamilton), The Twisted Citadel (Douglass), Hero of Ages (Sanderson), and Anathem (Stephenson.

Don't hate me too much, this haul is atypical and likely a one time thing.
Half Price Books is a chain of large, used book stores with pretty good selections and great prices. I live not too far from you, in Texas, so it's conceivable that there are some in MS. I was born and raised in MS, however, and never saw one. Of course I've been gone from MS for 16 yrs, so...

I've just done a bit of Googling and sadly, there are no Half Price Books stores in MS. The chain has a presence in a scattering of states across the country, but it looks like the closest to you may be in my neck of the woods; Houston.
BTW, Sorry for the double post, but I can't seem to edit my previous post. I get a HTTP 500 error when trying to save an update.

I don't really even want to think about the money, but I did just do quick calculation and determined that if I was able to get all the books still on my list at the same prices I bought the above for, it would cost me around $2500 (US). Of course, I don't expect to be able to find all of the books used.
Also, I fully expect to remove a lot of the books on my list without reading them. Many are from authors I never read before and I'm sure I'll find that I don't care for many of them.
At any rate, that's a lot of books, Eventine. I'd be scared too.

Very true. After getting the above haul home, I had to reorganize my bookshelf so they would all fit. Afterwards, I gazed upon what I had done and saw that it was good.

I just ordered the first 2 books of Keyes Kingdom of Thorn and Bone quartet, mostly based on Rob B's stellar review.
I am interested though in whose style Keyes is similar to. I know he was mentioned in Rob's Hero of Ages (Sanderson) review, but I'm not sure if that's because it is similar or just up-and-coming authors who follow their timetables for their series.
C'mon, I'm looking for more reasons to get excited about these books.
