I also received a gift card to Barnes and Noble. I had planned on holding onto it and book shopping at a later date. I lasted through only this afternooon. I grabbed my perfect little excuse to wander through the book store and took off. Just got back with:

    The Other Lands - Durham
    The Stormcaller - Lloyd
    The Twilight Herald - Lloyd
    The Grave Thief - Lloyd
    The Devil's Armor - Marco
    The Grand Design - Marco
The Sword of Angels - Marco

Well, I went ahead and took Michael Sullivan's offer, and bought his first 3 books of Riyria Revelations:

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Fair price, plus signed copies... could hardly go wrong here.

    B,
Thanks for that link. Although I already have the first one, I was pumped to buy the other two in that fashion. Nice to be able to boost an author like Sullivan who is making it happen.

    Add:
    Avempartha - Sullivan
    Nyphron Rising - Sullivan

It arrived today and it is beautiful, although I'm reasonably sure there is no such thing as an ugly omnibus.

Yeah, I got it about a week ago. I like how it looks also, but it'll be a while before I can get to read it.

Just ordered The Steel Remains - Richard Morgan and The Blade of Tyshalle - Matthew Stover Woodring.

Angel of Death - J. Robert King
Bauchelain and Korbal Broach - Steven Erikson
    Sleepless - Charlie Huston

I just bought Titus and Atreus by Meridi Myers on the recommendation of a friend who read it and loved it. I think it's a fairly new release, but I decided to give it a try because it sounded interesting. I ended up really enjoying the book and finished it in just a few days. Has anyone else read this and do they know if there is a sequel planned?

I also picked up Winter's Heart and I'm looking forward to the read.

    Assassin's Quest by Hobb.

The way I see it is... I have 2 of the books, I've got some money left from Christmas, why not? Was going to order Feist's Magician, but I decided it's best to not start another series until I've at least finished Farseer and Dark Tower.

Shadow and Claw - the first two of the Book of the New Sun

I have a decent amount of Christmas money, but I kept myself from spending it all at one time. I've been wanting to read Gene Wolfe for a while, so here's a starting place.
