I'm a big fan of children's/YA fiction as I think it often shows a lot more imagination and creativity than we tend to find in the adult fantasy market, and think it's an area Gaiman usually writes well in so I'm looking forward to this.
Which reminds me, I need to pick up the latest Garth Nix book...

It was split into two books for the UK paper back release, IIRC. Steel and snow was part 1 whilst Blood and Gold was part 2. So you might want to check the other version I'm assuming you have, as that might be the full book in a single binding.

Well, not so much bought as "acquired". I took some books off my nan's hands and I've got:
    The Sword of Shannara
    The Elfstones of Shannara
    The Wishsong of Shannara
    The Scions of Shannara
    The Druid of Shannara
The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara #1 Isle Witch

I think that would mean I'm missing maybe 2-3 books to complete the series that these books start? I know the first trilogy is complete but I don't know if the other two are trilogies or what. Time to do research

I preordered Songs of a Dead Dreamer by Thomas Ligotti from SubPress. I forgot about it until today, didn't know it was coming out so soon.

Before They Are Hanged by Abercrombie arrived yesterday, Last Argument Of Kings should be on its way too... I also won Dark Side Of The Sun by Terry Pratchett on eBay earlier this morning.
