I really liked that anthology. It's a children's book, so don't expect huge plotlines. Also, you have to take a lot of things at face value with the stories in the book. Again, it's a children's book and children take things at face value. They're not cynical like us. I wish it had been around when I was a kid, to be honest. It would have been right up my alley.

I'm a big fan of children's/YA fiction as I think it often shows a lot more imagination and creativity than we tend to find in the adult fantasy market, and think it's an area Gaiman usually writes well in so I'm looking forward to this.
Which reminds me, I need to pick up the latest Garth Nix book...

It was split into two books for the UK paper back release, IIRC. Steel and snow was part 1 whilst Blood and Gold was part 2. So you might want to check the other version I'm assuming you have, as that might be the full book in a single binding.
