    Oh, Kiaga's right: Cadvan's instatement as First Bard of Lirigon would be awesome I hope Alison decides to write that! I think it could be amazing, since he basically ruined his chances with the revenant, and now, at last, he's being fully forgiven....

    I actually have started writing a oneshot of that, my own version of what might have happened. I can't wait to post it, though it won't be as good as Alison's writing

    -squeal- That was brilliant!!!! I can't believe it took me that long to find it. I loved it even though Cadvan was being a little tit I liked seeing Ceredin for the first time, and Nelac is so amazing, I love him...
    I think Pellinor Short Stories would make my life - Alison, you are truly a wonderful, wonderful writer!!!

    The Friends

    Am I going crazy or did I read a while ago that Alison was preparing to write a new book called "The Friends" about Cadvan and Saliman pre-Gift?

    I remember reading about this potential book a few years ago and if someone could share their knowledge I would be eternally greatful!

    With The Friends I think you might be thinking of The Friendship (Or at least, the former was its original name and was later changed)

    It was a short story Alison wrote a couple of years ago, I can't remember what for, there was an anthology (?) or something, maybe?

    Anyway, it was posted online for free and you can read it here.

    Alison is writing a new book, however, and her Twitter mentions that it's finished.


    Also, I'm going to merge this with the other The Friends thread, it was a few pages back, so no wonder you missed it
