My copy of Best Served Cold finally arrived today. On the back it has the following testimonial:
"Abercrombie is a damned frustrating writer. He writes so well and his story is so infectious, it is difficult to sto reading."

Found two today - One that I was sort've aware of, the other I wasn't:
Esslemont's Return of the Crimson Guard (HB edition)
Brandon Sanderson's (HB edition) of Hero of Ages, on the inside front dustjacket cover.
One Rob, one Kater, I believe.

Yes and yes. I corresponded with the Tor publicist Dot Lin after seeing that and she mentioned that she'd wanted to get one of my blurbs on a book for a while. I was very chuffed!
I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I loved how Bakker mentioned specific sffworld members (i.e. Leiali, Mithfanion, and Saintjon) in the afterword (or was it the preface?) to the Thousandfold Thought.
Well Mithfanion deserves free books for life from the dude. If it had not been for him dredging up some old SE interview in which he mentions Bakker he might have faded into obscurity with his first book.Don't know what the other two did?
I saw an extract of a review, by Hobbit, posted on S.L. Farrell's page.
Poking around for books and saw SFFWorld listed in the 'Editorial Review' section on Paul Kearney's product page for The Ten Thousand on Amazon.
Arrived today (published September 2009), UK Paperback copy of KJ Parker's The Company. We're on the back cover!

My interview with John Twelve Hawks is linked and quoted on the LA Times Web site 8/25/2009 (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/jack...ly-appear.html)
My review of James Barclay's Dawnthief is blurbed on the back of Pyr's soon-to-be released US edition.
Nice one Rob!
"For those jaded by the genre’s predictability, yet hopeful about revisiting the elements that encouraged them to read Fantasy in the first place, this might be the series....
Recommended very highly. SFF World
From the back of the Pyr tp edition of Last Argument of Kings.
That's nice. I think that's one of mine!
[Later edit: Yes, it was: 18 months ago!]
Thank you, Caltob!

I saw sffworld, and a certain Monsieur Yon, here.
LOL. Luckily no picture, PW, though so far it has been a lovely weekend, involving lots of chat and beer. And books.
I'll say more when I get back here properly, but thanks for the link!
