Found one myself by accident....
There's an advert from Orbit in colour on the inside front cover of Locus this month: with a picture of the cover of 'The Company' there's a quote from my review.
I am quite humbled by that. Years ago, when a young teen, I dreamed that one day I would be able to afford to buy Locus. It was an impossible dream it seemed at the time, but Arthur C Clarke rated it highly as did Heinlein, and there were adverts in the rare copies of Analog and F&SF Magazine I could get my hands on. It was very hard to get here in the UK, and this was when there wasn't a major UK magazine - no Interzone, no SFX, it was before Starlog!
To actually be quoted in the magazine, albeit in an advert... I'm amazed.
Another example of me owing SFFWorld a lot.

Hob,
That is just so cool! Nice work.
Was none of my doing, Seak: but thanks anyway.
As you can probably tell from the post above, I was quite shocked, myself....

It sure would Peter, nice job both of you!
If you wait through the slides to cycle through, you'll notice a particular Admin fellow (slide 10 of 13).
LOL. About 2.30 am on a LONG day. The day was catching me up, I think. I was really concentrating to something being said, or perhaps it's because Brian Ruckley had bought me a drink...![]()

Of late, I've seen SFFW on Heroes (Abercrombie) and The White Luck Warrior (Bakker).
SFFWorld is on the back of Newton's City of Ruin (Hardback), and also on the inside of the paperback release of Nights of Villjamur. I'm guessing it's very likely to be the same review, however.
It's not a book review, but SFFWorld is mentioned on L.E. Modesitt, Jr.'s website. It honestly surprised me.
He actually was interviewed here waaay back in 2000.
That may explain the link, then. Thanks for digging that out, Rob.
Well, I'll be damned. Just saw SFFWorld here, kinda. Certainly didn't expect a review to be up on an agency site.
