Murphy is Alive and living in SF/F
It seems that computers not only give vibrancy to Murphy's Law but have established a series of axioms and corollaries specific to our genre. An example would be the cover I'm designing for a fantasy novel, using MSPaint. Guess what?
I inadvertently closed the Text Toolbox by clicking on X. Now it is grayed out under View and I can't display text at all. If any of you know what to do, please help. So far, Microsoft does not. Please forgive my introducing a non-specific topic like this but I am at my wit's end.

It turns out that there was nothing wrong with MSPaint after all. It was a glitch caused by my UPS of all things, something I did not believe could occur. Everything is fine now. Thanks.
