A Computerized Spell Book
Alright. I've been trying to remember the name of this book for quite some time now. I read it about fourteen years ago. It was about a boy and a girl who somehow (I forget how) get sucked into a computerized world. They have a sort of spellbook along with them and they have to use it to write code. Or something. Haha. Whenever I try to remember details I receive an image of a girl and a boy kneeling on a ground of green grid lines looking at a book.
Ring any bells?

It is probably not the story you are after, but Vernor Vinge's True Names has a related idea.

Heh. I totally forgot about this thread. I took a look at your link and it's not what I was looking for, but thanks!

To add to my original request, the book was written in the 80s, I think. I remember talk of floppy discs.

Was it by Rick Cook? Wiz Biz was an omnibus of the first two books in the series.

Might be Diane Duane's "Young Wizards" series.

Hmm. . . No. It was a stand alone, I remember that much. Thanks though!
EDIT: And you know what? I was wrong! It was by Diane Duane. It was Support You Local Wizard. Thank you so much. This has been bothering me for years.
