Waiting for an interview from a major local newspaper. Already sent photo files to the photographer. Now waiting for the reporter. Kind of routine stuff.

first Monday at work after a three week holiday: the relativity of time is clearly evidenced by the fact that the clock refuses to hurry towards the 16:00 mark.
Trying to renew my library books online.
Blooming website won't load and today is the due date. Oh the horror....
Watching a little college football, to be more specific, Oklahoma vs Texas Tech, 2:20 to go in the 2nd quarter. The score is 21 to 13 in favor of OU.
I have been away too long - SFFWorld has a new sexy look! Thought I should stop by and say hi - I have been three parts busy, two parts distracted and one part lacking motivation to actually sign in and chat. Anyway, I hope all is well.
Cheers.
Hey buddy, good to see you here again. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Howdy, DD. Nice to see you forced yourself to log on.
We do miss you, but I completely understand. As Pete said, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
What am I doing? Procrastinating, obviously.![]()
Bleedin' Canadians! They can't take five minutes out of their peaceful lives in Canadia to say 'Hi!', can they? Pfft.
Hehe. Hey DD, glad to see you back.
All is well! We took the plunge after much insistence from my son that he wanted to play hockey. 3 days a week, throw in two days for my daughters soccer and another couple for dance and you start to get the picture. Oi! But they are happy and well then so am I. This hockey thing though is all a mystery to me. I only ever played some road hockey with crappy sticks. This on ice business with equipment and the tying up of skates is hard. But after the first night I asked him what his favorite part was and he said all of it. So that's my life. It's all good- but I am so tired.
Cheers.
I hope everyone on that side of the Pond is okay and safe from the hurricane.
I'm currently waiting in a very long line to get my copy of The Wise Man's Fear signed by Patrick Rothfuss. The question: What the hell do I say to the guy?
Any ideas? I'm almost at the front of the line. I'm in the shadow of his mighty beard. . .
Watching the Mentalist right now, and also doing some school work, on this holiday.
